350 Rhode Island Office Building

350 Rhode Island Office Building

Custom ribbed GFRC panel, Kalwall, painted steel sunshades, recycled glass

A speculative office development with mirror image North and South buildings separated by a public grove of birch trees. Located in a mixed use industrial neighborhood, 350 replaces a recycling center which stood for over 80 years at the base of Portrero Hill. In a nod to the past life of the site, we created a unique wall of recycled glass and stainless steel which flanks the garden entry from Rhode Island street. The grove is a place to relax, eat lunch, or enjoy a moment away from work.
